This Year Marks 34th
Annual Gala Concert and Dinner
NEW YORK, NY, September 26, 2008 --
Andy Anselmo, Founding Director of Singers Forum Foundation, Inc.,
will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award presented by The Licia
Albanese-Puccini Foundation. The award will be presented at
the 34th Annual Gala Concert and Dinner for the organization, which
take place on Saturday, October 4, 3:00 pm at Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln
Center.
Other Lifetime Achievement Award
recipients will include Vinson Cole, Jane Eaglen, Tammy Grimes,
Carlo Guelfi, Rue McClanahan, Phyllis Newman, Patricia Racette,
William Schuman and Elaine Stritch.
The event will also present the
winners of the 2008 International Vocal Competition and feature
special guest appearances by Licia Albanese, Harolyo Blackwell,
Dwayne Croft, Marra Eggerth Kiepura and Elaine Malbin.
The Licia Albanese-Puccini
Foundation was founded in 1974 to provide assistance to young
American and international artists by means of scholarships, study
grants, and master classes. Tickets for the event are
available at the Box Office of Jazz at Lincoln Center and are priced
at $50/$25/$20.
