Singers Forum Spring Open House & Free Sample Class Day January 8th

NEW YORK, NY, 12/27/05 - Singers Forum, in its 27th year as New York’s premier vocal academy, is holding its Spring Open House and Free Sample Class Day on Sunday, January 8th from 12:00 - 5:00 pm. Singers Forum, the only school in New York which is devoted exclusively to the vocal arts, offers a comprehensive array of classes, including voice technique (all levels), jazz, classical, cabaret and Broadway performance techniques, music theory and ear training, and speech. Recent additions to the curriculum range from movement and improvisation, to the basics of entertainment law and demo package promotion.

As faculty, Singers Forum has secured an impressive array of professionals to come share their talents and experience with students throughout the year. Renowned cabaret manager-director Ron Cohn hosts a weekend workshop with cabaret legend Julie Wilson. Newer faculty members and New York rising stars Barbara Fasano and Eric Comstock return this term, and Anselmo Award winner Jerome Harmann-Hardeman introduces a new “Beyond the Classroom” perfromance class to show students what the real world of working performers is like.

Additionally, Singers Forum offers private voice lessons and coachings. They are open seven days a week, day and evening, and offer free consultations for all interested students. The Open House Sample Class Day is the perfect opportunity to pick up a brochure, meet faculty members, and personally experience upcoming classes, all free of charge.
