Sing the Truth Intensive Workshop

Barbara Fasano and Eric Comstock, following their busy spring and summer schedule headlining at the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel, offer their hugely popular "SING THE TRUTH" workshop in this exciting new format. This intensive workshop, with a performance on the last day, is limited to six students, for an intimate immersion into the intimate art of cabaret singing. Song selections are jointly made by the student and instructors prior to the workshop. Each student must come with songs memorized. The workshop affords each student extended individual class time to focus on song interpretation, patter, repertoire, physical work and performance skills. The workshop culminates in a concert, with each student performing a short set that has been polished during the workshop. All levels of singers are welcome, but students must have a basic grasp of rhythm and song structure.
