Find the source of your unique creativity, work from where you are now, and make the most of your individual strengths. A supportive and trusting working relationship encourages creative leaps. Emphasis on physical relaxation and specificity, handling performance anxieties – “my best friend, my song” and intensifying and personalizing your material through subtext. Musical Director Eric Comstock lends expertise in the language of music/song structure and repertoire. “Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art...” Stanislavsky.

Course includes performances on 3/13 (Session 1) and 5/29 (Session 2) for students enrolled in full session. Participation in course performance for students enrolling late will be at the instructor's discretion.
