Vocal Jazz Improvisation Workshop Starts Next Week

Have you ever wondered if you could learn to express yourself like the great jazz vocalists do?

Jazz artist Anat Fort will be teaching a workshop starting later this month, leading participants of all levels to discover the infinite possibilities of musical expression through the art of improvisation. Let your creativity soar as you learn new ways of expressing yourself through melodies and rhythms. Both individual and ensemble work will be explored.

Anat Fort graduated with honors from William Paterson University in Jazz Studies and Performance, with a minor in Classical Music.  A native of Tel Aviv, Israel, Anat has performed extensively in both Israel and the United States, as a pianist, composer, musical director and educator in diverse venues, such as The Cornelia Street Café, Small's, and musical theatre productions.  She has been a teacher and coach at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, The Actors Studio and Herbert Bergoff Studios.

Leadsheet Workshop Coming Up 10/23/05
Tired of paying someone to transpose your sheet music for you?

Singer, pianist and music educator, Ted Muzio, knows how often singers need leadsheets in their own keys, whether for auditions, open mics, or just personal use.   To fill that need, he's created a workshop to teach singers to transpose songs, even if they have no music theory training!

In this 3-hour workshop, the student will learn an easy, step-by-step approach to transposing a tune into his or her own key.  Materials, such as transposing wheel and music paper, will be provided!
Sign up for this helpful, money-saving workshop today and get on the road to having more control over your music.
