Ann Hampton Callaway, Laurel Massé and Janis Siegel Teach Vocal Jazz Master Class at Singers Forum
Ann Hampton Callaway

We are extremely excited to announce that Tony nominated singer/songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway and Grammy winners Laurel Massé and Janis Siegel of The Manhattan Transfer will come together for the first time to teach a master class in jazz vocals for Singers Forum.

The class, "Sing the Swing," will take place on July 10th and 11th, from 7-10 pm in The Dorothy Jones Theater at Singers Forum.  Over the two-day workshop, Callaway, Massé and Siegel will give students individual instruction and constructive criticism within a safe environment, meant to encourage the freedom to take chances and stimulate the exchange of creative ideas.  Sessions will also include vocal/physical warm-ups, instructor demonstrations and improvisations, and Q&A time.

As an added bonus, Singers Forum's own Artistic Director, Don Rebic, will lend his considerable talents as accompanist for the class.

Enrollment is by audition only.  Auditions will be held Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 1.  Please call 212-366-0541 for an audition appointment.

The cost of the two-day class is $450.  No single sessions wil be sold and no discounts apply.

AUDITORS are welcome for only $35 per day.
