Voice Technique Classes Start Second Session

Voice Technique group classes combine the one-on-one technique work of a private lesson with the opportunity to perform in front of an audience.  This is a great choice for students who want to become comfortable singing in front of others, or those who want to work on technique without the financial investment of private lessons.

Lucky for you, our second session of Voice Technique classes starts next week!  Call or come in to sign up!

Welcome Back, Teachers!

Jerome Harmann-Hardeman, who has been on the road for several weeks (including stops in Little Rock and Hawaii), is back at Singers Forum to teach "Beyond the Classroom" Performance Workshop on Tuesdays.  A couple of spots are still available for this instructor approval-required class, and late registration is okay.

Eric Michael Gillett also took a trip out west (to play Peron in Evita in Oklahoma City), but he returns starting next week for private lessons and to teach Audition and Vocal Performance, wich is currently sold out.  There is a waiting list; just call the front desk!

John Capes has also returned from a brief trip to Utah (he played Jean Valjean in Les Miserables).  He has already returned to teaching private lessons, and begins the second session of Voice Technique Mondays on July 23.

Welcome back!

D. Jay Bradley Memorial

We have heard that a memorial has been scheduled for D. Jay Bradley, who passed away June 25 in Mykonos, Greece.  D. Jay was a recent addition to our roster of accompanist, but in a short time he made a lasting impression on us.  He will be sorely missed.

This the message from his family:

An East Coast Memorial Service will be held for D. Jay Bradley on Wednesday, July 18th at the Duplex in New York City, at 8pm.

Words cannot describe the deep appreciation we have for your thoughts and condolences for our son, and brother, Jay.

In lieu of flowers the family humbly requests any donations be made to the D. Jay Bradley Memorial Fund.

Due to the enormous expense of repatriation the funds will be used to help bring Jay home. The remainder of the funds will be donated to charities that assisted Jay during his recent illness.

Donations can be made at any Bank of America branch or mailed directly to Marilyn Bradley-Buck, 5815 E. Palma Avenue, Space 183, Anaheim, CA  92807

Please make donations payable to the D. Jay Bradley Memorial Fund.
